Grant Seafood Festival Vendor Information

The 43rd annual Grant Seafood Festival will be held February 28 and March 1, 2009.  Along with the Seafood Festival, we have provided display spaces for artists and crafters.  This outside show is held on the festival grounds that are located behind the Community Center just north of First Street in Grant.  Grant is located in the S.E. section of Brevard Co., Florida.

For those of you new to the scene, we put the festival on with 100% volunteers.  No parking fee or admission is charged to the many people who come to enjoy the weekend.  Because of this, in the past years we have attracted upwards of 30,000 people.

As in 2008, we ask all interested artists and crafters to please provide nonreturnable pictures of “made by your hand” work, along with a completed application, check for the display space and a self-addressed stamped envelope or email address. Absolutely no buy/sell products. Reviewing of the applications will begin in November 2008 and continue until the show is full. Acceptance letters will be sent in December.

Art & Craft Show Entry Fee

$169.60. That’s $160.00 + $9.60 tax. PLUS, you must provide proof of Special Event Liability Insurance covering you and your booth for the Grant Seafood Festival weekend of Feb 28 and March 1, 2009, with the Grant Seafood Festival named as “ Additional Insured”.  Proof of this insurance coverage must be mailed with your application. If you don't have liability insurance and want to participate in our craft show, you can purchase it for an extra $50 to cover you for the weekend. If your work is not accepted, your money will be refunded. Your canceled check will be your receipt of payment. No refund will be made for cancellations.

Your exhibit space can be set up during the “to be announced” hours Friday or early Saturday morning before the start of the festival.  Display spaces are 10’x10’ in a grassy/sometimes sandy area.  Please note there is no electric available.  Be prepared for sun, wind or rain.  Each exhibitor is responsible for providing his or her own set-up.  There will be some overnight security provided but it is not recommended leaving merchandise unattended.  The festival is not responsible for loss or damage.
